- Case chains
We also offer an accompanying range of sprockets, idlers and inserts.
Straight Chains
Straight chains are mainly used in the food and packaging industry to convey packed products, bottles and cans.
They are available in a wide range of materials and designs, including:
- Slat top chains (plastic)
- Slat top chains (steel)
- LBP chains equipped with small rollers for low pressure case accumulation
- Snap-on chains flat top (based on carbon or stainless steel roller base chains)
- Case chains, mainly for case handling (includes connecting link accessory)
Radius Chains
Radius chains are mainly used in the food and packaging industry to convey packaged products, bottles and cans. They are available in a wide range of materials and are provided with tab, bevel or magnetic designs as required.
- Slat top chains (plastic)
- Slat top chains (steel)
- LBP chains equipped with small rollers for low pressure case accumulation
- Snap-on chains flat top, available also with rubber inserts (based on carbon or stainless steel roller base chains)
- Flexi chains, which are highly flexible radius chains for modular conveyor systems
- Case chains, mainly for case handling Multiflex chains, which are heavy-duty bi-planar plastic chains for inclined conveyors with a small radius
Materials
HabaCHAIN products are made of the highest quality plastic materials. In line with our pledge to provide the optimum solution for your needs, we will ensure the most suitable plastic material type for your application. Here are some of the materials used:
- Standard POM with good strength and a good coefficient of friction
Entry-level material for standard or low speed applications
- Low-friction POM with high strength and good abrasion resistance
Suitable for high speed applications. Food contact approved
- Low-friction POM, with a low coefficient of friction, high strength, and good abrasion resistance
Suitable for high speed applications with reduced lubrication
- Extra-low-friction POM with special self-lubricating agents
This material has the lowest friction values and the highest load and speed limits
- Extra-low-friction PBT material with good strength and very good abrasion resistance
Suitable for high speed, dry running applications
- Carbon steel and stainless steel
For heavy-duty or abrasive applications
Special materials
We also offer a range of special materials that deliver additional features, including extra strength, extra wear resistance, low electrical surface resistance, metal or X-ray detectability, and high chemical resistance.
Connecting link for Case Chain 1201AB
The link has been specifically designed for applications in highly demanding sanitary environments that require frequent chain removal for cleaning operations. It also reduces downtime during maintenance operations.
The pin is easy to remove by simply rotating the external lever secured by a clip, using a common tool (e.g. screwdriver), then pulling out the pin by hand.
The quick release pin avoids the risk of damaging the chain or reducing the retention force of the pin if removals and insertions are done improperly.
The yellow color of this special link allows its immediate identification in the chain.
